Storytelling Workshops

STORYTELLING THROUGH ROLE PLAY

PROMOTES PURPOSEFUL LEARNING IN A FAMILIAR AND RELAXED CONTEXT, PROVIDES PRACTICE IN LANGUAGE, SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS. AN EXTREMELY MOTIVATING, CREATIVE AND FUN ACTIVITY AND KEY TO THIS IS THE RETELLING OF A STORY BY THE LEARNERS THEMSELVES.

In role play situations children can experiment with the language they have already acquired as well as new vocabulary that they are introduced to.
GILNOW PRIMARY SCHOOL

Children at Gilnow Primay school enjoyed the story telling workshops where puppets and props were used to tell their favorite tales

Storytelling is an art in itself, Children come to life in their characters of choice, this workshop is full of fun with amazing results. My story sacks encourage children to be confident learners, we encourage role play using puppets and props to enhance their storytelling skills. We start with stories they are familiar with and then continue along the themes by encouraging their own storytelling.

The Hungry Caterpillar turning into the beautiful butterfly!

You will be surprised with the  results, we have worked closely with The Early Years team to help develop independent learners, children who were once quiet almost disappeared within a classroom situation soon came to be little performers producing outstanding results.

We have many Story Sacks that can be enjoyed by your setting, please contact us to bring your story time to life............
